Physical Activity

It is clinically proven that individuals 18 and older, adults, need a minimum of 30 min of physical activity 5 days a week. That merely sustains brisk walking or running adding any further physical activity such as playing a sport will only help you gain physical health benefits further. Where as childrena and teens need upwards of 60 minutes of physical activity a day, twice as much as adults. The reason being is they are still growing and producing therefore they need the excess as well as they tend to consume larger qualtities of calories. Even taking the 15 to an hour and breaking it up into segments of 10 minutes throughout the day builds your physical activity as well as builds satmina. By engaging in the benefits of periodical physical activity one has the ability of preventing certain diseases from becoming the death of them. Diseases which plague america today because of our nickname the FAT country. We know for a fact that by keeping yourself physically fit and participating in moderate physical activity will reduce the chances of any physical plaguing disease.

When any person is unhealthy of course there are risks there is a great risk that the people of today are going to have to deal with the future that stems from today. Reason is more and more people today are not getting the amount of healthy activity necessary to proceed in life. This is not out of the lack of time we have in a day either it is out of just plain laziness. Laziness to where people are getting fast food to eat instead of making a home cooked meal. The diseases and symptoms that stem from this ordeal of not receiving the proper physical activity and not eating right are as follows:

  • Heart Disease
  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Certain Colon Cancers
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Osteoperosis
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • High Cholesterol
  • Obesity
  • Arthritis

As our responsibility for the future we need to work togehter to seek out the information necessary to spread to the woerld and ackowledge people of what we need to do to keep our America healthy and better. Moderate daily activity reduces your chances of ever producing these diseases or symptoms incredibly and allows you to go on living life to the fullest. Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in men and women in the United States physically dead people are twice as likely to develop coronary heart disease than physically active people. Only 3 in 10 of adults get the recommended physical activity. Poor inactivity and lack of choice in diet increase the risks of developing disease. 41 million Americans are estimated to have pre-diabetes most people who are diagnosed with this develop diabetes within 10 years after. The only way for this to be prevented is to loose 5-7 percent of your body weight. This is not only for us caucasian decent there is a 20% rate of African-American, Hispanic and Native American all being overweight. The biggest barrier that people have in trying to increase their physical activity is accessing the proper facilities and finding the time to utilize them. Please try harder and do not become a statistic or if you must become a statistic be one to change the statistics for the better.
